Requesting your Personal Information Record (PIR)
You have the right to access the personal information Tascol holds about you.
As part of our role in managing debt on behalf of organisations, we may hold information relating to accounts referred to us within the past six years. Your Personal Information Record (PIR) provides a summary of this information.
We disclose this information upon request in accordance with Australian Privacy Principles, ensuring it is handled securely and transparently at all times.

What your PIR may include
Your Personal Information Record may include:
- Your contact and identification details
- Account and balance information
- Details of the original debt and referring organisation
- Records of communication and account activity
- Payment history and current status
- Any relevant insolvency information
By default, your PIR will cover a six-year period. If you require information beyond this timeframe, you can indicate this in your request.
How to request your PIR
You can request your Personal Information Record at any time through our secure process.
To protect your privacy, we will need to verify your identity before releasing any information. As part of your request, you will be asked to provide:
- A mobile phone number (for verification)
- A personal email address (for delivery of your PIR)
- Valid photo identification
- A payment method (if selecting a priority service)
Accepted identification includes an Australian Driver’s Licence, Passport or other officially issued photo ID.
Service options and timeframes
As each PIR is manually compiled by our team, processing times vary depending on the service selected.
Priority Email Service — $25
We aim to provide your PIR within 2 business hours of receiving your completed application. Timeframes may vary depending on demand.
Standard Email Service — Free
Your PIR will be emailed to you within 21 days of receiving your application.
